Primastar transmission issues

I'm having a strange issue with my 2022 Nissan Primastar gasoline. It has 72349 km on it. The engine warning light keeps popping up, and sometimes the transmission light as well. I scanned the error memory and it points to a faulty transmission oil temperature sensor. Now, the gearbox is sometimes going into emergency mode. Other times, it slips or shifts really uncleanly, and I even hear grinding noises when shifting. I've read that low gearbox oil level can cause this. Has anyone encountered similar transmission issues?

In my case, the garage confirmed that the oil level was indeed the issue, even though it appeared fine at first glance. They suggested checking the sensor itself for any damage, but in the end, it needed to be replaced. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and repaired.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local workshop, and you were spot on. Turns out the gearbox oil level was a bit low, and the temperature sensor was faulty. Replacing the sensor and topping up the oil fixed everything. Total cost was 365€.
