Prius System Readiness Check Incomplete
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Toyota Prius hybrid experienced an incomplete system readiness check and an error message on the speedometer after using an OBD2 scanner. This issue was likely caused by the scanner interfering with the vehicle's computer system. The problem was resolved by taking the car to a workshop, where the computer was reset, completing the system readiness check and clearing the error message.

Yeah, the check engine light is on now. Was it the same for you? Any idea how to fix the system readiness?

Yep, exactly the same. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; they said the computer needed a reset after the OBD2 thing messed it up. Fixed it right up. It's a common thing.

Thanks for the info! I took it to a shop and they reset the computer. The system readiness check is complete now, and the error message is gone. No cost at all!

I had a similar problem with my Prius. Did the check engine light come on after you used the OBD2 scanner?
