Prius windshield wipers not working
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Toyota Prius experienced a complete failure of the windshield wipers, with a diagnostic revealing an error in the wiper system. The issue was suspected to be a defective cable or plug connection in the wiper circuit. A similar problem was resolved by checking the wiring harness near the wiper motor, where a loose connector was found and repaired, restoring the wipers to working order.

Thanks for the tip! Can you recall any specifics about the wiring harness issue you had? Was it a loose connection, damaged wire, or something else? Any details would be greatly appreciated before I dive in too deep.

It was a while ago, but I'm pretty sure a connector had come loose near the motor. Wasn't getting power. Honestly, I wiggled a few things and it started working again. If you're not comfortable messing with it, a shop should be able to sort it out quickly.

Appreciate the insight! As suspected, the connector near the wiper motor was indeed defective. I had it repaired for 95€. Problem solved! Many thanks for your help.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar wiper problem on my Prius a while back. Couldn't get them to budge at all. Have you checked the wiring harness around the wiper motor? That's where my issue was. Could save you a trip to the shop.
