Hi, thanks for your reply. My Viano is a 2018 model with a mileage of 1067 km and the last service was just under 3 months ago. To be honest, I don't have the details of the exact model to hand at the moment. The fault code came straight after the last service. Hopefully I didn't have to spend as much money as you did. Best regards!

Hey, at this mileage it's not very common, but it could actually be the control unit, as in my case. However, this can only be determined with a thorough diagnosis in the workshop. A tip from me: If you still have a warranty, try to take advantage of it, it would have saved me a lot of money back then. As for the mirror heater, in my case it wasn't the problem. But who knows - models vary. It doesn't hurt to have it checked too. Good luck with your Viano and hopefully it won't be too expensive! Best regards!

Hello, thank you very much for your tips. Unfortunately, I no longer have a warranty on my car. I hope it's not the control unit as that can be an expensive repair. I will ask my garage to check both the mirror heater and the control unit in more detail. I also hope that it won't be too expensive. Many thanks for your help and best wishes!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2016 Mercedes Vito, very close to your Viano. I would describe myself as someone with little car knowledge. My garage found that the control unit was faulty. It was quite an expensive affair as I had to pay 475,0€. Could you please give me more information about your vehicle (e.g. exact model name, mileage, etc.)? Then I might be able to help you better. Best regards!
