Automatic transmission and check engine light problems with a Mercedes B-Class

Hello everyone, I own a Mercedes B-Class, model year 2014, with a diesel engine and 310,000 km on the odometer. I am experiencing the following problems: The transmission is slipping and shifting roughly, the check engine light (MIL) or transmission warning light is illuminated, and the automatic transmission is not shifting as usual. My question is: Why does the automatic transmission only upshift at higher RPMs? The error readout indicates that there is excessively high exhaust gas recirculation pressure in cylinder bank 1. The EGR valve and bypass valve were replaced yesterday, but the problem does not occur briefly after a restart of the engine, but then returns. Has anyone had similar experiences or any tips for solving this problem? Thank you in advance!

Start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition, as low or dirty fluid can cause slipping and rough shifting. Make sure the fluid is at the correct level and is clean. If the fluid is low or dirty, consider having it changed. Let me know if this helps or if you have any further questions!
