Problems with Mercedes C-Class diagnosis after database update
(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
The owner of a 2004 Mercedes C-Class is experiencing diagnostic issues after a database update to version 45, which has resulted in implausible control unit names and only internal DTCs being displayed. Previously, diagnostics worked correctly with the older database version. Additionally, the ABS/DSC system is not functioning. Suggested solutions include reverting to the previous database version and checking ABS fuses and relays, with a recommendation to consult a professional mechanic for further inspection, especially for the ABS issue.

For the diagnosis issue, try reverting to the previous database version if possible, as it was working correctly before. For the ABS/DSC system, check the ABS fuses and relays first, as these are simple checks. If the problem persists, it could be a sensor or wiring issue. Since ABS is a critical safety feature, I recommend having a professional mechanic inspect it. Let me know if you have any updates or further questions!
Is there a guide on how to revert the database version in the app back to version 44? Even if I reinstall the app, I have to upgrade the database to version 45. The app doesn't allow anything else.
