Hello everyone,
I own a 2010 Ford Fiesta with a gasoline engine and 150,000 km on the odometer. For some time now, I've been experiencing problems with the gearbox. When cold, first gear is very difficult to engage, and there are difficulties when shifting from 4th to 3rd. In addition, reverse gear can disengage on its own. I've already replaced the clutch, but the problem persists. I hope it's not a major gearbox problem, as that could be very expensive.
Do you have any suggestions? Do you think this could be related to the linkage or the clutch cable? I should specify that the car does not slip.
Thank you in advance for your advice!

Check the gear linkage for any signs of wear or misalignment, as this can cause difficulty in engaging gears. Ensure all connections are secure and properly adjusted. If the issue persists, it might be worth having a mechanic inspect the gearbox for internal issues. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
