Mode transition problems on Mercedes GLC 350e Hybrid
I own a 2017 Mercedes GLC 350e Hybrid plug-in with 150,000 km. Recently I've experienced some problems: the check engine light is on and there's a jerk during acceleration. In hybrid mode, at the first transition between electric and thermal, there's a jolt and an error message with a gear symbol appears. From that moment, the car only runs on the thermal engine. If I switch it off and on again after an hour, everything resets, but the problem reappears. I've been told it could be a solenoid in the transmission, but I'm afraid the transmission needs to be opened. Has anyone had similar experiences or suggestions on how to solve this problem?

Start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition, as low or dirty fluid can cause shifting issues and jerking. If the fluid is fine, consider having the vehicle's diagnostic codes read to pinpoint the exact issue, as this can help determine if it's indeed a solenoid problem or something else. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
