Hey, thanks for the tip about the glow plug! My Kuga already has 126162 km on the clock and the last oil change was recently, at the last inspection. I would probably have that checked at the garage. I just hope it won't be too expensive.

Hey, no problem! With your mileage and if you change the oil regularly, something like this can happen. Normally, however, the glow plug is checked at around this mileage, so I'm surprised that nothing was found during the last service. In your case, it could also have other causes. The best thing to do is to visit a garage. They can then examine it more closely. Of course, it could also be the battery, the starter or the ignition. Either way, have it checked. Of course, I also hope for your sake that it won't be too expensive. Good luck with it and let me know what it was!

Hi, that's a really good idea. I will take my Kuga to the garage as soon as possible and have it looked at. Maybe it really is just the glow plug or something else that isn't that expensive. I'm really glad there are helpful people like you out there who are willing to share their experiences and help. I'll keep you posted and let you know what the problem ended up being. Thanks again for your help!

Hi, I had the same problem two years ago with my 2018 Ford Escape, which is a different model but very similar to yours. I'm not a master mechanic, but I know a bit about cars. I went to my garage at the time. The mechanic found out that the glow plug was faulty, which is why the car wouldn't start. They then replaced the glow plug and I haven't had these problems since. But the whole thing cost me 560 euros. It would be helpful if you could provide a little more information about your car. How many kilometers has it done? When was the last time you changed the oil? With this information, I might be able to help you even better.
