Problems with blower and air conditioning in Citroen Jumper - Possible defect in the outside temperature sensor

Hey guys, I have a problem with my Citroen Jumper (2006, diesel). The fan is not working, the air conditioning/heating is not giving enough heat/cold and a warning light comes on in the speedometer. I suspect the outside temperature sensor is faulty. Does anyone have any experience with this? How should I proceed? What was the solution at the workshop? Thanks in advance for your help!

(Translated from German)

Summary of the thread

The conversation revolves around a Citroen Jumper experiencing issues with the blower and air conditioning, suspected to be caused by a faulty outside temperature sensor. The initial problem includes a non-functioning fan, inadequate heating/cooling, and a warning light on the speedometer. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by repairing a faulty cable or connector related to the sensor. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle checked at a garage to confirm the cause and proceed with necessary repairs.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hi guys, I had a similar problem with my Citroen Berlingo (2008, diesel). I don't have that much experience with cars, but I can say that the problem with my vehicle was a faulty cable or connector from the sensor. I had it repaired in a garage and it cost me 155 euros. Without knowing the exact details of your vehicle, it could of course be a different problem. Can you provide more information about your vehicle? Maybe I can help you then. Good luck!

Hey, thanks for the answer! My Jumper has now run 9530 KM km. The last service was only recently. I think I'll have it checked at the garage. If it really is just a cable or a connection, hopefully the repair won't be too expensive. Thanks again for the help!

No problem, buddy! At 9530 KM, your Jumper shouldn't really have any major problems yet. But you never know, sometimes you just have bad luck. I would definitely have it checked at the garage. If it really is just a cable or a connection, the repair shouldn't be too expensive. Post the results here when you get back from the workshop. Maybe it will help one or two people here. Keep your fingers crossed!

Great, thank you! I'll take the car to the garage and have the problem checked. As soon as I have the results, I'll get back to you and post them here. Maybe it will be helpful for someone else. Thanks again for your tips!
