Hey, thanks for your advice! My Ibiza already has 105867km on the clock - maybe I should have a specialist look at it. The last service was about six months ago. Nothing abnormal was found. I changed the battery about a year ago, but unfortunately that didn't help much. I'll definitely have the cable connections checked, thanks for the tip!

Hello again! With over 100000km it's not unusual for something to come up now and again that needs looking at. If you say that the battery was changed a year ago, it may well be that it's not the battery. However, as the light flickers and dims and the warning light also appears, it could be an electrical problem. I would therefore not only have the cables on the starter checked, but also the cable connections in general. Or maybe even the alternator - if it's no longer working properly, that could also be causing these symptoms. I hope this helps you a little and your Ibiza is quickly back on the road!

Hey, thanks again! You're right, it could definitely be an electrical problem. I'll make an appointment at the garage and hope that my little Ibiza will be fit again soon. I'm really grateful for your input - you've helped me a lot! Stay healthy and take good care of yourself.

Hi, I have some experience with cars, but I'm not a professional. I had a similar problem with my 2010 Seat Leon, where the cable connection on the starter motor was defective and oxidized. The garage fixed it pretty quickly after I explained the problem to them. It cost 190 euros, which I think is reasonable considering my car has been running smoothly ever since. Could you perhaps tell us more about your car? For example, how many kilometers it has run or if you have recently replaced anything? Maybe then I could give more specific advice. Hope this helps you!
