Hey, thanks for your quick reply! So my Citan has now run 66031 kilometers and I only had the last service recently. Hopefully it's just a problem with the cables. Thanks for the info, I'll have it checked at the garage.

Hey, no problem, I'm glad I could help. With 66,031 kilometers on the clock, your car shouldn't really be causing such problems yet. But it's good that you've only recently had a service. My mechanic told me at the time that this could be a pretty serious problem. Make sure you get it checked as soon as possible! Good luck with that and let me know what you find out.

My 2010 Mercedes B200 once had the same problem. I'm not a car expert, but I have a bit of experience because I tinker with my car a lot. The garage discovered that the cable connection to the oil level sensor was faulty. They repaired it for me and it cost 165 euros. There could be other reasons though, so it's best to contact a garage to help you with this. To help you more accurately, could you please give me more information about your car? How many kilometers have you driven so far and when was the last time you changed the oil?
