Hi, my big car is from 2009 and now has a proud 189296 km on the clock. It had its last service a few months ago. I always fill up with diesel. Hm, software values sound good, I didn't know that could lead to this. For 45 euros, that would of course be a dream! I'll just take it to the garage for a check-up. Thanks for your tip!

Hey, I'm glad I could help you! Your car has been around a while, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. With my old E-Class, it really was just the software. However, this is of course no guarantee for all problems. It could just as easily be something else. Next time you fill up, pay attention to the quality of the diesel, sometimes this can also cause problems. In any case, have your car completely checked and mention the symptoms and your suspicion about the low-pressure fuel system. I'm curious to see what comes out of it. It would be great if you could keep us up to date here! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's nothing major. See you then and have a good trip!

Hey, thanks for your continued help! I will definitely have a thorough check done at my garage and I will also keep your suggestion regarding the diesel quality in mind. As soon as I have an update, I'll get back to you here. Of course, it would be great if it's just a minor software problem. Keep your fingers crossed for me! It was really good to write here and get such helpful advice. Thanks a million and see you soon, guys!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Mercedes E-Class (diesel, built in 2007). I have some experience with cars, but I'm not an expert. I just noticed something was wrong and then had it checked at my garage. They found out that the fuel pump had incorrect software values. The solution was quite simple: they updated the software values and it only cost 45 euros. Can you share some more information about your car? For example: How old is it? How many kilometers has it driven? What kind of fuel do you use? That might help me give you more specific advice. Best regards!
