Hey, that's actually a huge relief! It seems like I'm going through the same thing as your Skoda Superb. Do you remember roughly how much the repair cost? And have you had any other problems since? Thanks again!

Hey, I'm glad I could help you! I remember the repair cost about €350 at the time because the cable connection had to be replaced because it was oily. But since then the low engine oil pressure problem hasn't happened again on my Superb, so I think it was money well spent. I'm sure your Skoda Yeti will run smoothly again afterwards! Good luck and don't let the cost put you off too much!

Hello everyone, thank you very much for your encouraging words. I took my Yeti to the mechanic and it was actually the same problem, the wiring also had to be replaced. The mechanic quoted me a price of around €360, which I had already expected thanks to you all. Thanks again to you all for your help! Best regards!

Hey, your Skoda Yeti seems to have exactly the same symptoms as my 2015 Skoda Superb last year. I had the same scare, but in the end it wasn't anything serious. An illuminated warning light indicates an oil pressure problem. For me, the problem was the oil pump. So don't worry, you don't have to assume the worst. It looks like a minor problem that can be fixed quickly. Good luck!
