Gosh, that's really bitter! But thanks for the tip. My car has already done 137889 km and the last service was recently, everything was fine then. I'll have the wiring harness of the radiator shutter checked. Hopefully it won't cost me any more than it did for you! Thanks again!

No problem, that's what we're here for! With your mileage, I would definitely take a look at the wiring harness of the radiator shutter. It may well be rubbed or defective. If the last service was recent and nothing was mentioned about it, it really points to that. It was the same with my old GLS. You know, it cost me, but it was worth it in the end. Overheating can lead to bigger problems that could cost you a lot more. Better get it checked as soon as possible. And hopefully it will be cheaper for you! Good luck!

That's right, it's better to repair it now than have major damage later. I will definitely have it checked. If it really is the wiring harness, then this information from the organizer here is worth its weight in gold! Thank you very much for that! See you then, and hopefully I'll get back to you under better circumstances next time. Take care and thanks again, buddy! See you around!

Hey. I once had a similar problem with my 2016 Mercedes GLS Class. I don't have much experience with cars, but here are my 2 cents. Turns out my radiator shutter wiring harness was defective/rubbed up behind the bumper. This caused my GLS to overheat. I went to my garage and they fixed it. It cost me 270 euros. To help you further in depth, could you please give more info about your car, like mileage and so on? Hope that helps!
