Hey, thanks for your reply! So I guess my suspicion about the wastegate valve actuator has been confirmed. My Arkana already has 99944 kilometers on the odometer and I had the last inspection about 6 months ago. Hopefully the repair will be a bit cheaper for me. I'll take the car to the garage tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks again for the tip!

No problem, happy to share the experience. So your Arkana has already been through a lot with almost 100,000 km. This can happen from time to time, especially if it is used intensively. Hopefully you'll be lucky at the workshop and they can fix the problem quickly and for not too much money. It's pretty stupid if the car then starts to act up, isn't it? Let me know what they said, I'd be interested too. Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Hi, yes exactly, with almost 100,000km it has really seen a lot. I also hope that the repair won't be too expensive. I'll get back to you when I know more. Until then, I wish you all the best and thanks again for your help!

Hi, I have a little bit of experience with cars and had a similar problem with my 2017 Renault Captur. It could actually be the wastegate valve actuator that is faulty. It caused pretty similar symptoms for me. I then took my car to the garage where they confirmed it. It was a bit of expensive fun, to be precise, it cost me 1820 euros. But since then everything has been running smoothly again. Maybe that's what it is for you too? Could you perhaps provide a little more information about your car? Model, mileage and so on? Then I might be able to help you even better.
