Hey, thanks for your quick reply! The mileage on my Twingo is currently at 98784 km, the last time I was in the garage was about two months ago for a standard inspection and everything was fine. I really didn't expect such problems to occur so quickly, really annoying. I'll see if it's the intake ducts and consider cleaning them if necessary. Thanks for the tip!

No problem, man! Good to hear that you inspect the car regularly. Normally you shouldn't come across any major problems so quickly if everything is in the green zone. But well, cars, right? Sometimes it's like a surprise egg. Your mileage is still in the good range. If you're lucky, it could really just be contamination of the intake ducts, in which case a thorough cleaning could make a difference. But be careful, if the problem persists, I would advise a thorough diagnosis. Injectors, spark plugs or the high-pressure pump could also be the cause, especially if starting takes a long time when cold and fuel consumption is higher. Of course, the running stability control is also still in play, especially with the symptoms you describe. I hope you get everything under control soon! Good luck with it and keep us up to date, I'd love to hear how it turns out. Greetings!

Very cool, thank you! Yeah, cars can really be a mystery box sometimes. I guess I'll get the intake runners checked now and if the problem still persists, I'll definitely consider a full diagnostic. Your comment about injectors, spark plugs or high pressure pump definitely makes sense and I'll look out for that. And yes, the cruise control ... this thing just gives me no peace. Hopefully it's not too complicated and too expensive. I'll definitely keep you posted and get back to you as soon as I have any news. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me in detail. I really appreciate it. Take care, see you then!

Hi mate, a similar thing happened to me with my 2013 Renault Clio Diesel. I'm not really a car specialist, but I do know a bit about cars. In my case, the intake ducts were heavily contaminated. At the garage, they then carried out a vehicle diagnosis and cleaned the intake ducts. It was all pretty time-consuming and cost me 425 euros. It sounds like your Twingo has similar problems, but I can't be sure. It's difficult to say without more vehicle information. Maybe you can give a bit more information, e.g. mileage and maintenance or service work you've done? It might help to narrow down the problem more precisely. Fart dry, isn't it ;-)
