Problems with seat and mirror heating in an Audi A3

Hi everyone, I have an Audi A3 and I'm experiencing a problem with the seat and mirror heating. The buttons seem to work correctly and I've already checked the fuses. Interestingly, when I connect the OBD and access the unit, everything starts working perfectly. I even did a backup with Carly and during that process the heating works without problems, but when exiting the unit, even though the buttons remain on, the heating stops working. I haven't done any coding recently, so I'm a little lost on what else to check. Has anyone had a similar experience or knows what could be causing this problem? I appreciate any help or suggestions. Regards.

Summary of the thread

An Audi A3 owner is experiencing issues with the seat and mirror heating, which only work when connected to an OBD unit. The problem persists despite the buttons functioning correctly and fuses being checked. A suggested solution is to perform a hard reset by disconnecting the car battery for 10-15 minutes, which may resolve potential control module or software glitches.

It sounds like there might be an issue with the control module or a software glitch. Try performing a hard reset by disconnecting the car battery for about 10-15 minutes, then reconnect it. This can sometimes resolve electronic glitches. Make sure you have any necessary radio codes or settings saved before doing this. Let me know if this helps or if you have any further questions!
