First of all, thank you very much for your quick reply. My Galaxy is a 2009 model and has just 55713 kilometers on the clock. My smartphone runs Android, if that helps. I think updating the infotainment system might be a good idea, maybe I should ask the garage about it. Glad to hear it wasn't that expensive for you! Have you had any other problems since then or is everything running smoothly?

Hey, glad I could help! Since updating the infotainment system everything has been running smoothly for me, no further issues with connectivity. Your Ford Galaxy with Android smartphone should theoretically work in a similar way. I would definitely recommend asking at the garage. They will probably need to do a software update. Don't worry - it shouldn't be too expensive. It really made a difference for me. Hopefully it will solve it for you too. Feel free to let me know how it goes. Good luck!

Great, thanks for your valuable tips. I'll call the garage tomorrow and ask them to update the infotainment system. Hopefully this will solve the problem, it's just annoying, especially on longer journeys. And thanks for the reassurance about the cost, that was an additional worry of mine. I'll get back to you as soon as I have any news. Thanks again for your time and help, really great!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Ford Focus (built in 2007). I don't have a lot of experience with cars, but I'm happy to help. My problem was also "faulty coupling with the terminal device". The workshop updated the infotainment system in my car and it has been working perfectly ever since. It only cost me 45 euros, which was really okay. But to be able to help you specifically, I would need a bit more information about your car. Exactly which model do you drive? And what operating system does your smartphone use? The more details you provide, the easier it will be to pinpoint the problem.
