Hi guys, I have a problem with my 2007 Peugeot 4007 Diesel. The starter motor doesn't pull properly and the lights keep dimming or flickering. Have any of you ever had problems with low voltage in the vehicle? I would like more information to understand this better and would like to know how you have solved this in the workshop. Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2005 Peugeot 407 Diesel. Now, I'm not a mechanic, but I've done a few things to cars. In my garage we had to replace the battery. The reason was 'battery flat/defective'. That cost me 290 euros. WITHOUT knowing your vehicle better, it's difficult to give specific advice. Could you please give me more information about your Peugeot? That might help me better.

Hey, no problem, I'm happy to help. I didn't know from the start that it was the battery. At first I thought it might be something with the alternator, as that can also cause the lights to flicker. But then I took the car to the garage and they did a test and found that the battery was the problem. The replacement didn't take long, maybe half an hour or so. But I had to wait a few days to get an appointment. I would also recommend having your Peugeot checked. It could also be that the V-belt or the alternator is the problem, especially if the lights are flickering. So take it to the workshop! Of course, the exact price always depends on what exactly needs to be done and how long it takes. Why haven't you been to the garage for so long? Good luck and hope that the problem is solved soon!
