Problems with the 2021 Koleos petrol engine: engine light, loss of power and jerky acceleration
(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Koleos petrol engine is experiencing issues such as the engine light being on, reduced power, rough running, jerky acceleration, and stalling at idle. The suspected cause is a fault in the tank ventilation valve. A similar issue was resolved by checking and unclogging hoses, suggesting that a garage inspection focusing on these areas might be beneficial.

Hey, thanks for the tip! I'm from Cologne and my Koleos has already done 127401 km. The last inspection was recently, but the problem has started anyway. I'll probably have the hoses checked at the garage. Hopefully it won't be too expensive!

No problem, I'm glad I could help! With so many kilometers, something can break, especially as problems can often occur with the tank ventilation valve due to its function and location. There are certainly enough garages in Cologne where you can get a proper diagnosis. The cost of my repair was quite reasonable, but of course it always depends on the specific problem. If I were you, I would have the car checked as soon as possible so that it doesn't get worse. Stay healthy and have a safe journey!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2019 Renault Koleos. I have little experience with cars, but I can tell you that in my case the hoses were clogged. I had everything checked at my garage and the repair cost 175 euros. Maybe you should have it checked at your garage. What city are you from and do you have any other information about your car, such as the exact mileage? This could help to narrow down the problem further.
