Problems with the air conditioning in a 2013 Renault Laguna petrol engine - sharing experiences and suggested solutions

Hey guys, have any of you ever had unusual problems with your 2013 Renault Laguna gasoline engine? It no longer heats and cools properly, the air conditioning won't start at all and it only blows warm air. Could there be a fault with the air conditioning? How did you solve this problem in the workshop and what were your experiences? I look forward to your tips and experiences.

Summary of the thread

The issue revolves around a 2013 Renault Laguna petrol engine's air conditioning system, which is not heating or cooling properly and only blows warm air. The problem could be due to faulty individual valves in the air conditioning system, as experienced by another Renault owner. The suggested solution is to take the car to a garage for a thorough check-up and possible servicing of the air conditioning system. Regular servicing every 2 years is also recommended to prevent such issues.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2011 Renault Mégane. I actually only have a bit of experience with cars, so I took it to the garage. It turned out to be a fault with individual valves in the air conditioning system. The best part is that it didn't cost me anything as it was covered under the car's warranty. To help you more accurately, it would be cool if you could give a bit more info on your vehicle, e.g. mileage, model etc. Hope that helps!

Hi, thanks for the info. My Laguna has about 50,384 km on it and the last service was recently. I think I really should take it to the garage and have it checked. It's a shame that the warranty is probably no longer valid, but we'll see.

Hey, no problem! Good decision to take your car to the garage. Even though your warranty may no longer be valid, it's important that you solve the problem as quickly as possible. Insufficient cooling or heating can indicate more serious problems in the cooling system. I would definitely be interested to hear what the garage says. Stay tuned and let us know what comes out!

Hi, thanks again for the advice. I've decided to go to the garage tomorrow. I hope it's nothing serious. I'll keep you posted on what the garage says. Give it a try, maybe others of you have the same problem. See you then!

Servus, I would also go to the garage first and then check that the air conditioning system is not empty. As a rule, you should have the air conditioning system serviced every 2 years, then it should run again without any problems.
