Hey, thanks for the tip! The thing with the cable connections makes sense, I should have that checked. My Peugeot 4007 has a mileage of 115893 KM and the last service was recently. Apart from that, it has been running great so far. Hopefully the garage will solve this problem without too much stress. The exact diagnosis is still pending. But I guess I'll probably have to pay something too... it's always something, isn't it?

Hey, no problem, I'm always happy to help. Your Peugeot already has a respectable mileage. It sounds like you've taken good care of it. However, with so many kilometers it can happen that a few things need to be repaired. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the repair won't be too expensive. So if it went the same way for you as it did for me, you should be looking at around 150 euros. It's always annoying, but it's better than the car suddenly not opening or closing at all! Incidentally, it's also a good idea to have the keyless entry system checked for proper functioning. Keep it rollin', and good luck with the repair, buddy.

Thanks, dude! Your words give me some comfort. Good to know that it's probably just a cable connection problem and the repair costs won't break the bank. Checking the keyless entry system wasn't even on my mind, thanks for reminding me. I'll keep you posted on how things go with my Peugeot. Stay well and let's keep in touch.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2010 Peugeot 4008, I only have some car experience but sometimes my cable connections were faulty. It happened to me when I sent my car to my regular garage. The specialists there identified the problem and the defective cable connection was replaced immediately. I paid 155 euros to have it fixed. Apparently these cable connection problems are nothing new at Peugeot. Just ask the garage. Can you tell me a bit more about your car? The more details you give, the better I can help you.
