Hey, thanks for your quick reply! Well, my SpaceTourer currently has 16162 KM on it and it's been a while since the last service, so I think it's time I visited a garage again. Apart from this problem with the steering, the car is actually running quite well, no other abnormalities. Was hoping to maybe get away without a workshop visit, but if you say it could be the ECU then I guess I'll have to tackle that. Was hoping I could save some money, but better safe than sorry! Thanks for your advice!

Of course, always happy to! Yes, saving money is always one of those things, I completely understand you. But with something like this, especially when it comes to the steering, safety is simply the most important thing. It could be the control unit, as in my case, but it doesn't have to be. Maybe it really is just the steering column motor. Whatever it is, a specialist workshop should definitely check it. With my previous cars, including the Citroen, I've had almost nothing but good experiences at my regular workshop. Good luck and give us an update if you know anything new. Maybe this will help others with the same problem. Is at least everything else still running well? Don't worry, you'll be fine!

Hey, thanks again! Yep, apart from this steering column adjustment, the car runs great as I said. Everything else drives great, it's just that it's giving me a bit of a headache. But you're right, it's better to be safe than sorry. I'll take your advice to heart and bring my car in for an inspection tomorrow. It will be a bit expensive, but the main thing is that the problem is fixed. As soon as I have more information, I'll definitely give you an update here. Fingers crossed that it's just a minor issue! Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it! Take care and stay safe!

Hey! With my Citroen SpaceTourer it gave me similar issues. After some searching it turned out to be a faulty motor in the steering column adjustment. My mechanic was able to replace the motor, and it worked perfectly ever since. I would personally recommend getting it checked by a professional. Best of luck!

Hey, I drive a 2016 Citroen C4 and had a similar problem. I'm not a car mechanics expert, but I have some experience and have already fixed a few small things on my cars myself. In my case, it wasn't the steering column adjustment motor that was the culprit, but a faulty control unit. I had it checked at my regular garage and they said the control unit had to be replaced. The whole thing cost me 1000 euros, which was pretty steep, but since then everything has been running smoothly again! It's important that you have it checked by a garage. Could you perhaps give some more details about your car? This could help to provide more precise information. Is there anything else noticeable or unusual about your SpaceTourer?
