Problems with the electrical system and battery in the Audi Q3 Diesel model year 2015
(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Audi Q3 diesel is experiencing electrical issues, including error storage, flickering lights, and a weakening battery during startup. The suspected cause is a disconnection at terminal 30. Suggested solutions include checking the battery sensor and inspecting the wiring for loose connections or bad connections at terminal 30. These steps aim to identify and resolve the issue without incurring high repair costs.

Hey, thanks for the tip about the battery sensor, that sounds plausible. I've already done an OBD scan but this battery sensor error didn't come up. Well, I'll see what happens. By the way, my car already has 95000 km on the clock, and the last service was a few months ago. I just hope it's nothing serious. I'm really not in the mood for expensive repair costs. Thanks again for your help!

Don't worry, I'm happy to help wherever I can! I can understand that you don't want high repair costs. With my Audi, I'm always worried when something strange happens. If the battery sensor error didn't show up in the OBD scan, it could also be a problem with terminal 30. Have you ever checked the wiring? A loose cable or a bad connection could be causing this flickering. Maybe you can find something there. And do me a favor and stay tuned, I want to know if you get your problem solved. Good luck and keep me posted, buddy!

Thanks for the further help and for the good wishes, buddy! I'll have a closer look at the wiring and terminal 30. Hopefully I'll find something useful. And of course, I'll keep at it and keep you up to date! Maybe there will be a solution without expensive trips to the workshop. Your tips were really great. Really cool of you, thanks again!

I have a problem with my steering when I turn the wheel I get noise
The noise when turning the steering wheel could be due to a variety of reasons such as low power steering fluid, worn out or damaged power steering belt, or issues with the power steering pump. Start by checking the power steering fluid level. If it's low, top it up and see if the noise goes away. If the fluid level is fine, then the issue might be more complex and it's recommended to have a mechanic inspect it for safety reasons. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Hey there, I'm not a mechanic but I do have some experience with cars. Had a similar problem with my 2013 Audi Q5, the reason was a faulty battery sensor. The garage fixed the problem for 315 euros. Have you already put your car in an OBD scanner to see what error codes come up? Without more detailed information about your vehicle, I can't be of much help. Hopefully I was able to help a little anyway. Let me know if you have any more information!
