Hey thanks for your help! My C2 already has 190641 km on it and was last checked a year ago. I think I'll take your advice and go to the garage. Maybe it really is the engine control unit! But it sounds really expensive, hopefully it won't be that expensive for me. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! Yes, the number of kilometers is a good indication, in the worst case something major can actually break. Although I had over 200k km on my C3 when the engine control unit gave up the ghost. So you can only hope. In any case, I'll keep both fingers crossed that it's perhaps only a minor problem and that you can get away with a cheaper repair. But be sure to have it checked at a good workshop, they know all about this kind of thing and can definitely help you. Let us know what happens next!

Hello, thank you for your support and the tip. That really is a great help for me! I also hope that it's just a minor issue. Well, as you say, only a garage will be able to tell exactly. So I'm going to take my C2 to a trustworthy garage now and hopefully it won't be that bad. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I'll definitely keep you posted after my visit to the garage. See you then!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2003 Citroen C3. I don't have too much experience with cars, but I can tell you what happened to me. In my case it wasn't the clutch pedal switch, it was the engine control unit that was faulty. The repair at the garage cost me €1000. I recommend that you have the car checked at a garage. Could you perhaps also tell us a bit more about your car, for example how many kilometers it has run? That could help us to help you better.
