Hey, thanks for your answer. My B Class has already done 139958 km and the last service was just recently. I haven't had any problems with it so far, except now with the headlight cleaning system. I'm a bit worried about the control unit. Hopefully it won't be as complicated and expensive for me. Thanks for the advice, I'll report it to my garage. Best regards!

Hi, no problem, always happy to help! With over 139k kilometers, something can go wrong - especially with systems like the headlight cleaning system. Of course, this is just a guess, but perhaps a control unit is also affected in your case. On the other hand, it could also be a simpler problem, such as a clogged or defective spray nozzle. In this case, it wouldn't be so expensive. Try checking whether the nozzles are blocked in any way. It's best to take the car to the garage and have them take a look, as they are best placed to assess this. It doesn't always have to be the most expensive problem ;) All the best and good luck!

Hi, thanks again for the valuable tips! You're right, I often say to myself, with so many kilometers something can break. I'll have a look tomorrow morning to see if the jets are blocked and then of course take the car to the garage. Hopefully it really isn't anything major. Have a good week! Best regards.

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Mercedes A-Class. I have to say that I'm not an expert in this field, but I do have a bit of an idea. I had it repaired in the garage. It was a bit expensive, it cost me 1000 euros. The reason was a defective control unit, which was quite complex to fix. But to help you better, could you give me a little more information about your car, for example the exact model and how many kilometers it already has on the clock? That could be helpful to estimate what might be the cause. Good luck!
