Hi guys, I have a problem with my 2008 Opel Tigra and gas engine. The symptoms are: Error in my headlight height adjustment and a warning light on the speedometer. I think there may be a functional restriction in the headlight leveling system. Have you perhaps had similar experiences and could you give me tips on what was clarified and repaired at your garage? Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2006 Opel Astra. I would describe myself as someone who has "some experience" with cars. At my garage they found that the headlight control unit was faulty. So I had it replaced there, which cost me 630.0 euros. It solved the problem quickly. However, please bear in mind that there may well be other reasons for your problem. Could you perhaps provide a few more details about your car? Surely this could help to tell you more precisely what the problem could be. Good luck in solving the problem.

Hello, thank you for your reply. More specific details about my car are that it has run 130551 km so far and the last service was 3 months ago. It could be the faulty control unit, but I'm hoping that it might be something less complicated. I'll ask the garage about the control unit and how much it would cost. Thanks again!

Just to clarify, it's very possible that your problem is different, as every car and every situation is really unique. The 130,000 kilometers on the odometer could play a role, but since you had a service 3 months ago, everything should be fine. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, it would be advisable to have the headlights and their wiring checked in the workshop, as there could also be problems there. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's a less expensive repair for you than it was for me back then with my Opel Astra. Please keep us posted on what the garage ultimately diagnosed.
