Thank you for your quick reply. The warning light is on permanently and the headlights seem to adjust randomly, which is very annoying when driving at night. The last service was carried out at 130867 KM but the problem still persists. Don't worry, I am technically well trained and willing to try some troubleshooting myself (up to a certain limit of course). Your experience makes it seem like it's worth going to a garage. Before I do that, I just want to exhaust all possibilities. Your help is definitely appreciated!

Hey, I'm glad to hear that you're technically savvy and want to take things into your own hands! If the warning light is always on, I would recommend checking the fuse and all the headlight connections first. Sometimes corrosion or loose connections can cause strange problems. If it really is the headlight leveler malfunctioning, you could try using a flashlight to check for obvious mechanical damage first. Unfortunately, my experience with such repairs is limited, but maybe you can find some more information on how you could fix it yourself before you decide to go to the garage. I hope this helps you a bit. It's always good to be prepared before going to the garage. Good luck with solving the problem!

Hey, your recommendations are pretty helpful, thanks for that! You're right, checking fuses and connections is a good first step. I'll also try to take a closer look at the headlight leveling system. And yes, the more I know about the problem, the better I can prepare for the workshop visit. Thanks again for your tips and for your wish that I can solve the problem. I really appreciate that!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Citroen C-Zero (built in 2020, electric motor). My knowledge of cars is moderate, usually enough to solve minor problems myself. In this case, however, I had to go to the workshop because the headlight control unit was faulty. The repair then cost 630 euros. Of course, this is no guarantee that your EMehari has exactly the same problem, but it could be a possibility. To be able to help you more precisely, I would need a few more details about your vehicle: Does the warning light come on permanently or only sporadically? And how exactly do the headlights behave? Hopefully I can help you with that!
