Have any of you ever had such an incident and been able to have the problem fixed in the workshop? How did it go and what were your experiences? I'm looking forward to your answers!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2018 Mercedes GLA Class. I only have a little experience with cars. So I took my car to the garage to fix the problem. In my case, the control unit was faulty and it cost me 1000 euros to replace it. It was quite simple, they replaced it and the seat heating worked perfectly again. But to help you further, could you please give me a few more details about your car and when exactly the problem occurred?

Hey, thanks for your contribution. So with my GLC the problem occurred at about 125465 km, which is also the mileage now. At the last service, which was just a month ago, everything still worked. I hope I don't have to fork out 10 euros, that would be really bad!

Hey, I fully understand your concern. With my GLA, the problem occurred at around 140,000 KM. It's quite possible that something else is faulty in your GLC and the repair will cost less. On the other hand, it's also possible that other parts are needed on your model and replacing them will be more expensive. It's best to go to the garage soon and have it checked. Sometimes small faults lead to big problems if they are left untreated. But don't panic, the people at the garage are usually good and will quickly find a solution. In any case, good luck and hope that your problem is solved quickly and doesn't become too expensive!

Hi, thanks for your advice. I will definitely do that! Hopefully it's just a minor defect and won't be too expensive. I'll get back to you when I know more. Until then, thanks again for the support!
