Hi, thanks for your thoughts on this. My G-Class already has 129022 km on the clock and the last service was only recently. A new control unit would be really annoying, I was hoping it was just a small sensor. I'll ask the garage and connect a diagnostic device if necessary. See you then!

Hey, no problem, you're welcome! Your car has already been through quite a lot, so unfortunately things like this can happen. But before you assume the worst, get the diagnostic unit to check whether it really is the control unit. In my case it was, but there could be other reasons. Sensor problems are also one of those things that can happen. I'd be interested to hear what you come up with! Good luck and don't let it get you down. Greetings back!

Hi, yes, you're right, she's already done a few kilometers. It's always a bit nerve-wracking when these lights start flashing, but that's the way it is with cars, it's just part of the job. I'm going to get the diagnostics unit on it and see what the fault is. As soon as I know more, I'll get back to you and share my experience. It might also help others who might have the same problem. Have a nice day and thanks again for your help! Take care!

Hello, I'm not a professional, but I do have some experience with cars. I recently had a similar problem with my 2018 Mercedes E-Class. It turned out that the control unit was faulty. I had to have it replaced in the workshop and it cost me about 1000 euros. So, it might not necessarily be the Hall sensor. Can you perhaps tell me a bit more about your car, e.g. the exact model designation and perhaps also the mileage? That might help me to help you a bit better. Best regards!
