Problems with the vehicle coding on my Ford Ranger

Hi everyone, I drive a Ford Ranger and am having some issues with the vehicle coding. According to Carly and Google I should be able to access the coding, but in my app I don't have this option. What am I doing wrong? I have already run diagnostics and found a fault that is also known to Ford. However, this error has to do with the powertrain control unit. Shouldn't it still be possible to change some things via the coding? Or am I wrong? Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hello R4punzel, if you cannot access the coding options for your Ford Ranger in the Carly app, this may be due to the compatibility of the vehicle model or the version of your app. Also, an error in the engine control unit may limit the coding functions, although unrelated functions may still be customizable. Make sure your app is updated, check your adapter connection and contact Carly support for assistance: https://support.mycarly.com/hc/de/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000386979

Hello! I have a Ranger 2.0cc 170hp XLT with 25000 kilometers, and while driving, the ABS, ASP, 4X4 or descent, parking brake, airbag lights come on; I have no turn signals, no high beams, the steering wheel is heavier, the speedometer goes from 100 kilometers to 80, 40, 0 and back to 100. In short, almost all the vehicle's control modules seem to be malfunctioning. Thank you in advance, Stavros.

This sounds like a serious electrical issue, possibly related to the vehicle's main control unit or a grounding problem. Start by checking the battery connections and ground wires for any loose or corroded connections. If the problem persists, it's crucial to have a professional mechanic inspect the vehicle as soon as possible, as these issues can affect driving safety. Please update on your progress or if you have further questions.
