Problems with unavailable functions and warning light in the 2019 Skoda Kodiaq petrol - Possible transport mode?
(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Skoda Kodiaq petrol owner is experiencing unavailable functions and a warning light on the speedometer, suspecting the transport mode might be activated. The issue arose after a recent service, affecting systems like start-stop and lane departure warning, and the car has occasionally turned off while driving. A similar case with a Skoda Superb suggested low battery voltage as a potential cause, leading to a recommendation to check the battery and consult a garage for further diagnosis.

Hey, thanks for your quick reply. My last service was at 28990 km and I saw the problem right after that. Strange, isn't it? It's more small things that don't work, like the start-stop system and the lane departure warning system. A couple of times it has also gone out while driving. Your experience with the low voltage sounds similar, maybe I should have that checked too. Many thanks for the tip!

Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for! It's really strange that you noticed the problem right after the service. It could be a simple coincidence or maybe they accidentally adjusted something during the service or didn't connect it properly. Yes, such problems can definitely be caused by low voltage. The battery provides the power for almost all the electrical systems in the car, including the start-stop system and the lane departure warning system. The going off while driving sounds worrying though. I definitely wouldn't wait too long and have it checked as soon as possible. Please let us know what your garage says. It might help others who have similar problems. Have a safe journey and hopefully the problem can be fixed soon!

Hello again, thank you! Yes, that's really strange. I will definitely make an appointment with my garage as soon as possible. It does indeed sound like the problem is related to the battery. It's really scary and also very dangerous when the car suddenly cuts out while you're driving. I'll keep you posted as soon as I have more information. Thanks again for your help! You guys are great!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2017 Skoda Superb, I would say I have some experience with cars but I am not an expert. When I had this problem, I took the car to my local garage. They found that 'low voltage detected'. This means the battery was not fully charged enough and was causing the stored fault and warning light. The garage recharged my battery and the problem was fixed. This cost me 240 euros. Can you give me more details about your problem? For example, which functions are not available? This could help to better diagnose the problem.
