Interesting. How did you determine that the intake was the problem? Did you notice any other symptoms besides the stalling and check engine light, and how did you fix it?

Well, the symptoms were almost identical, and honestly, I'm no mechanic. Figured I'd pop the hood and take a look. Saw the intake was coated in muck. I tried cleaning it myself which helped a bit, but eventually the problem came back, so I had to get the IAC valve replaced at a workshop. Cost me around 425€.

Thank you for the information. Based on your experience, I will take my car to a workshop for inspection and potential IAC valve replacement, also mentioning the intake contamination. Hopefully, this will resolve the issue.

Sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my Pulsar. Is your intake heavily contaminated? That was the culprit for me. It's like trying to breathe through a clogged straw; the engine just can't get enough air at idle.
