Pulsar oil level sensor error

I'm writing to report a problem that has arisen in my 2014 Nissan Pulsar, which is equipped with a diesel engine. At approximately 111427 kilometers, the vehicle has begun to display an error message in the speedometer, indicating a fault with the oil level sensor or its signal. This is accompanied by a warning light and, intermittently, the oil pressure warning lamp illuminating. Furthermore, an error code related to this issue is stored in the error memory. Initial inspection suggests a potential defect in the cable or plug connection. I would welcome any insights or shared experiences.

I had a similar issue with my Pulsar. From what you're describing it does sound like the oil level sensor. Has the car been running rough?

Thank you for your prompt response. No, the engine performance seems unaffected; the vehicle continues to operate smoothly. Could you elaborate on the specifics of your experience? Did you observe the same symptoms, and were there any other indications of the problem?

Yes, the symptoms were identical. The error message and the intermittent oil pressure light were the key indicators. Given that the engine is running smoothly, it is most likely the sensor or its wiring, as you suspected. I'd suggest having a workshop take a look. I had to pay 95€ for it.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Given the information you have provided, I will proceed with a thorough inspection of the wiring and connections, and subsequently consult with a qualified technician for further diagnostics and repair. The error was indeed the cable, the repair cost 95€. Thank you again.
