I haven't checked it myself yet, no. Just read the error memory. Which cable and plug connections are you referring to exactly?

The ones related to the cruise control system itself. If there's an error stored, it's probably not a simple fix. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Better to have it properly diagnosed than potentially cause further issues with the car electronics.

Thanks. The workshop confirmed it was a defective cable or plug connection, as you suspected. Cost me 95€ to repair. Sorted now.

Could be a faulty system. I've seen similar with other Fords. Did you check the cable and plug connections? Could be a defective actuator or even something with the throttle body. Has the car had a diagnostic check?
