Puma Defrost Air Distribution Flap Fault

I did notice a faint clicking sound from behind the dashboard when switching climate control settings. Could this mean a bigger problem in the HVAC unit? Can I check this without taking apart the whole dashboard?

The clicking does point to a possible issue with the defrost air distribution flap motor or its linkage. You might be able to do some basic checks, but a full look usually means getting to the HVAC unit. Given the error code and the weak heating, I'd suggest a workshop visit for a proper inspection.

Okay, thanks. I'll book it into a workshop soon. The repair ended up costing 95€. Thanks for the help.

Have you checked the dashboard panel for noises when adjusting the temperature or air distribution? A faulty HVAC unit can act like that. Does the air circulation seem normal on all other settings?
