Puma Height Control Issue

I've got a 2020 Ford Puma with a gasoline engine that's throwing me for a loop. Mileage is at 51793 km. I'm getting a warning light, and the low beams seem off – either pointing too high or too low. The ride feels bumpy, and I've noticed the car isn't sitting level, front to back. Plugged it in and the error memory shows a height control issue. Anyone else run into something similar?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Puma. Was the suspension feeling particularly stiff, like hitting every bump in the road? Check your load sensor, or leveling system. Could be a defective control rod on the sensor.

Stiff is definitely one way to describe it. Where exactly should I be looking for this load sensor and control rod? Is it something easily visible or am I going to need to get under the car?

Yeah, that confirms it. I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself unless you're really comfortable with suspension components. In my case, it was easier to just take it to a workshop and have them sort it out. Saved me a lot of headache.

Appreciate the insight. Took your advice and brought it in. Turns out it was indeed the control rod on the height sensor. Repair cost me 110€. All sorted now, thanks!
