Puma Low Climate Control Heat
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Ford Puma hybrid is experiencing low heating output despite the engine being at operating temperature, with an error code indicating a potential issue with the water valve. The problem may be caused by a faulty water valve or a related cable or plug issue. A similar case was resolved by replacing the water valve, which restored normal heating. It is suggested to have the valve tested and possibly replaced at a workshop to address the issue.

Coolant level's spot on, I topped it up recently and checked for leaks, nothing obvious. Was your error code also related to the water valve specifically? What did replacing this part do on your car?

Yes, it was exactly that valve. If you're getting that error code and the heating is weak, and you exclude the simple like an air lock (bleeding valve), I would suggest a visit to the workshop. They can test the valve properly before replacing it. Cost me about 95€ all in. The heating was back to normal after they changed it.

Cheers. Sounds like that's the culprit then. I'll get it booked in for a check. Thanks for confirming – saves me chasing shadows! It helps if you know other people have had a similar issue and found a solution. Appreciated!

I've got a Puma too and had a similar issue a while back with the heating being weak. Did you check the engine coolant level? Coolant could be leaking somewhere. I'll check my car again maybe I remember more.
