Puma Misfires Defective Injector

Fuel consumption seems normal, so I'm not sure it's a fuel injector. Was your Astra showing the same symptoms even without increased fuel consumption?

Yes, the Astra exhibited the same symptoms without a noticeable increase in fuel consumption. Think of it like a leaky faucet – sometimes the drip is small enough that you don't immediately see the water bill skyrocket, but it's still a problem. Given your Puma's symptoms and mileage, it's highly probable that you also have a defective injection valve or injector. I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Defective injector confirmed. Repair cost me 515€, but the car runs smoothly now.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old 2016 Opel Astra. Check engine light, rough idle, the whole nine yards. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty fuel injector. Did you notice any change in fuel consumption, like the car drinking more than usual?
