Puma Tire Pressure Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Ford Puma owner reported a persistent 'Tire pressure too low' error despite manually checking tire pressures. The issue was suspected to be a sensor fault, particularly due to the vehicle's age and mileage. It was suggested that the tire pressure sensor batteries might be depleted, which was confirmed upon inspection. Replacing all four sensors resolved the issue.

Good questions. It seems to happen randomly, regardless of the weather. And it's not always the same tire that triggers the warning. Any ideas what it could be?

Okay, that sounds exactly like what I experienced. After chasing my tail for a week, it turned out to be the tire pressure sensor batteries were on their way out. Given the age and mileage, it's plausible. Unfortunately, they aren't replaceable separately; you need to swap the whole sensor. I'd recommend visiting a workshop to get them checked and replaced. It cost me around 280€ including labor.

Thanks a lot for the info! I'll get the sensors checked at the workshop. As you said, it was indeed the sensor battery empty. Replaced all four sensors and now the error is gone. Cost me 280€ including labor. Appreciate the help!

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my Puma. Drove me nuts for a while. Have you noticed if it happens more frequently in colder weather or after the car has been sitting for a bit? Also, are all four tires showing the same error, or just one or two?
