Puma Windshield Wipers Not Working

My 2019 Ford Puma with a gasoline engine has a problem: the windshield wipers aren't working at all, and there's an error stored. I checked the fuses, and they're fine. Could it be the wiper motor or something with the steering column?

I had a similar issue with my Puma. Did you check the cable and plug connections? It could also be the rain sensor, if you have one.

Thanks, I didn't think about the cable and plug connections. Could a bad turn signal cause this?

It's unlikely the turn signal is related. My problem was a bad plug connection, like I said. I'd have a shop check the connections and the wiper motor.
