Qashqai keyless entry unreliable

I'm having a weird issue with my 2022 Nissan Qashqai hybrid. It's got about 105k km on it. Recently, I've been getting an error message popping up, and the keyless entry is totally unreliable – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even stranger, every now and then I can't start the engine without actually putting the key in the ignition, which defeats the point of having keyless entry! I scanned for error codes and it mentions something about the bumper antenna. Could this be the culprit? Any ideas what might be going on before I take it to a shop?

Dude, that sounds super familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happening with my Qashqai. Keyless entry being a pain, random errors popping up... Drove me nuts! Did you check the antenna connections? That was my issue.

Yeah, man, it was definitely the antenna cable in my case. I wouldn't say it's easy to get to, but not terribly hard either. Honestly, I'd say just bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They'll diagnose it properly and probably fix it quicker than you messing around with it. Could save you some headaches.
