Qashqai low coolant warning

My 2018 Nissan Qashqai diesel is throwing a check engine light. Hooked it up and it's showing low coolant. Mileage is 45635 km. I've checked the coolant reservoir and it's low. No obvious leaks that I can see around the radiator hoses or under the car. Anyone else had this?

Hey, I've got a Qashqai too. Similar issue a while back. Was the cooling fan running constantly, even on short trips?

Now that you mention it, yes, the cooling fan does seem to be running more than usual. What did it end up being for you?

Yup, sounds familiar. Ended up being a small coolant leak somewhere I couldn't easily spot. I'd get it checked out at a workshop. Cost me 52€ to fix.

Thanks for the tip. I'll book it in. It was a loose radiator cap, causing coolant to evaporate. Replaced it and topped up the coolant – all good now.
