R Klasse key issues low voltage warning
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Mercedes R Klasse displayed a low key battery warning, causing keyless entry issues and erratic lock/unlock behavior. The problem was likely due to a depleted key battery. Replacing the battery with a new CR2025 resolved the issue, confirming the initial assumption that a simple battery replacement was needed.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I haven't checked the voltage directly, but assumed it's the battery given the symptoms and message. I thought it was a common issue. What was your solution?

Yeah, it's likely just the battery. I tried a new battery myself, but still had issues. Turns out the replacement I used was also low voltage. I then went to a shop, and they did the battery replacement. I haven't had issues since.

I appreciate the feedback. A battery replacement, CR2025, at the workshop sorted it. 37€ total. Thanks.

I had a similar issue with my Mercedes C Klasse. Same symptoms: keyless go stopped working, and I got the low battery warning. Have you checked the battery voltage with a multimeter? Sometimes, even new batteries can have low voltage. What kind of battery is it? Is it a CR2025 or CR2032?
