Ractis ABS and Steering Problems

I did check the pressure, and it was indeed low. However, could a simple tire valve issue trigger the ABS light and power steering problems? It seems like a huge overreaction, doesn't it?

Okay, low pressure confirms something's up. Honestly, with those symptoms – ABS and steering issues – it's beyond just a simple flat. A defective valve could be the root, causing the pressure drop and confusing the car's systems, but it sounds like it cascaded into other problems. I'd get it to a workshop ASAP. They'll diagnose it properly. My bill was around 280€, hopefully yours is similar.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a local workshop, and you were right. It turned out to be a defective valve causing the tire pressure to drop, which then triggered the ABS and power steering issues. Replaced the valve, and everything is back to normal. The repair cost me 280€. I really appreciate your help!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Ractis too, and I had a similar problem last year. Did you check the tire pressure with a gauge yourself? Is one tire significantly lower than the others? It could be a faulty tire pressure sensor freaking out and messing with everything else.
