Ractis Damping Adjustment Fault

Hi, I've got a 2007 Toyota Ractis with a gasoline engine and about 176735 km on the clock. Recently, I've been experiencing a bumpy ride, and the speedometer warning light is on. I checked the error memory and it indicates a damping adjustment fault. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Hey! I also drive a Ractis and had a similar issue not too long ago. Was it throwing any specific codes related to the suspension system? It felt like I was riding on solid tires!

Yes, the error code pointed towards a defective cable or plug connection to the damping component. Did you happen to check the wiring yourself, or did you take it straight to a workshop?

Nah, I didn't mess with the wiring myself. Suspension stuff can be tricky. I took it straight to the shop. Turns out, it was indeed a dodgy connector. They quoted me about 95€ to sort it all out.

Thanks for the info! I'll take it to the workshop then. The error description matches what you experienced. Cost for the repair should be similar to yours. Really appreciate the quick feedback!
