I focused mainly on the electrical connections. Where exactly was the failed mount on your Astra?

It was right where the transmission connected to the engine. It caused all sorts of vibrations. Honestly, I'd get it checked at a workshop. They'll spot it quickly.

Thanks for the info. Turns out it was indeed the engine mount and a defective connector. Repair cost me 95€ Appreciate the help.

Interesting. I had similar vibration issues with my 2012 Opel Astra. It turned out to be a failed transmission mount. Did you check the mounting bracket for any visible damage?
