Ranger Airbag Warning Light

My 2006 Ford Ranger with a gasoline engine is showing an airbag warning lamp on the speedometer. Diagnostics point to a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced a similar airbag system failure on their Ranger?

I've got a Ranger, and something similar happened to me. Was the airbag light constant, or did it flicker?

The light is constant. Did the constant light also point to a cable issue for you?

Yeah, constant light. I poked around a bit, but honestly, I ended up taking it to a workshop. Best to get it checked properly, you know?
