I did have some third-party chip tuning performed recently. Could you elaborate on the specifics of the error you experienced, and whether it was definitively linked to the chip tuning?

Yeah, it was the chip tuning, 100%. Basically, the guys who installed it messed something up, and the car's computer didn't like it. Throwing codes and limiting power. Took it to a workshop, they diagnosed it pretty quick.

Based on your experience, I took my Ranger to a workshop. They confirmed that the faulty chip tuning was indeed the culprit. The repair cost amounted to 180€. Thank you for your assistance.

Ugh, Rangers. I had something similar happen to mine a while back. Reduced power and a constant light on the dash. Drove me nuts! Did you recently get any work done? Mine happened right after I had some aftermarket chip tuning done. That could be it...
